Style,
Confidence,
Sex
Appeal.
All
that
and
more
apply
to
Catalina
designs
as
well
as
the
designer,
Caroline
Saccone.
As a
child
Caroline
dreamed
of
being
a
fashion
designer.
Art
was
always
her
passion
and
Caroline
expresses
that
passion
in
her
choice
of
clothing.
After
graduating
from
University
of
Massachusetts
in
Boston
and
Mass
Art,
she
was
ready
to
fulfill
her
dream
in
both
art
and
fashion
design.
The
Bostonian-combines
her
Italian
heritage
into
her
designs.
In
2005
Caroline
Saccone
set
off
on
an
adventure
that
would
forever
change
her
life.
After
graduating
college,
she
started
working
as
head
designer
for
Marsha
De
Arriaga
LLC
making
custom
apparel.
Through
this
exposure,
Caroline
became
aware
of
the
differences
in
fabric,
style,
and
cut.
Caroline
began
to
develop
working
relationships
with
her
clients.
From
purely
word-of-mouth
sales
tactic,
Caroline
began
to
sell
her
designs
to
friends
and
acquaintances
with
no
advertising.
While
sporting
her
own
designs,
women
would
frequently
approach
her,
seeking
where
to
buy
her
designs.
The
demand
became
so
great
that
a
business
was
born.
Caroline
took
the
next
step
and
started
her
own
company
Catalina
(her
name
in
Italian)
and
a
fashion
line
called
Forbidden
(
Vietato).
In
2006
the
line
launched.
The
company
is
Catalina-the
line
Forbidden:
wanting
what
you
can't
have
and
the
temptation
behind
it.
Learning
and
gaining
from
this
forbidden
love.
The
line
is
for
those
who
have
a
hard
time
finding
unique
items.
There
are
only
36
pieces
made
of
each
design,
no
mass
production.
The
overall feeling
is
sexy.
European
flair
is
injected
into
each
garment
created.
