Lindsay Anne Jones was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York City. Her interest in fashion design began while majoring in fine arts at Edward R. Murrow H.S in Brooklyn. During her junior year she was allowed to take any art elective she desired, so she chose Fashion Illustration and Design. She was immediately addicted. Lindsay won an award for excellence in Fashion Illustration and Design at her high school graduation.

After high school, Lindsay attended the Fashion Institute of Technology to further her education in Fashion Design. While in school, Lindsay interned for a woman's contemporary designer Sally Tseng, and for a maternity wear company called Theality. At Theality, she was allowed to design freelance for the company which challenged her to really think about designing for a particular customer and the needs of the customer.

Lindsay was president of the Model Workshop at F.I.T for three semesters. It was through Model Workshop that she acquired leadership skills and developed knowledge of choreographing and coordinating runway shows. After graduating from F.I.T she ventured briefly in designing beading and embroidery, junior sportswear, and she worked as a temp for Nautica.Lindsay currently works full-time under the Head Designerat at NY Collection (a branch under the umbrella of Notations inc. Other branches include L.A.M.B).

Her goal is to gain a sufficient amount of experience that will enable her to start her own line of apparel and accessories. She is currently seeking financial support.
Lindsay's most recent endeavors include designing a cocktail dress for the
first lady Michelle Obama and designing a custom- made outfit for "Miss Romance" Cindy Guyer.
