Michelle
Idrovo
Michelle
Idrovo
was born
in
Brooklyn,
NY in
1987,
but
raised
in
Worcester,
Ma. Her
interest
in
fashion
was
always
her main
priority.
While in
high
school,
she took
every
opportunity
to
strengthen
her
drawing,
and
designing
skills
so she
could
better
showcase
her
talent.
Michelle
then
later
attended
Massachusetts
College
of Art
and
graduated
with a
BFA in
Fashion
Design.
Michelle
now is
working
on her
new
collection
for
Fashion
Expose
for
Boston
Fashion
Week.
Vibrant
colors
and
crazy,
fun
prints
are the
main
inspiration
for
Michelle
Idrovo’s
designs.
She uses
bright
colors
in her
designs
to bring
about a
feeling
of fun
and
youthfulness.
For this
collection,
Michelle
was
inspired
by the
1960’s.
The
1960’s
were a
decade
dedicated
to the
youth.
The
youth
took
control
and was
the main
voice
about
what was
popular
to wear.
Bright
and
vivid
colors
like
those
found in
pop art
and
psychedelic
prints
were one
of the
inspirations
that
Michelle
pulled
from the
60’s.
Also
bold,
solid
color
contrasts
that
were
popular
in Mod
fashions
were
another
influence
for her
collection.
Michelle’s
designs
are for
the
young or
the
young at
heart.
